COST COMPARISON
The supply and install cost of a TECSLAB™ floor system is very competitive against traditional concrete frame structures, as demonstrated in the following comparative case study of two different apartment projects. In each case, a Quantity Surveyor assessed two equivalent structural designs for each building – timber vs concrete. Savings were demonstrated against multiple items including; floor supply and install, preliminaries costs such as pumps, formwork etc., footings size, labour costs (domestic chippies) and considerable time savings.
